I am a Dual PhD Candidate in Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Computational Mathematics, Sciences and Engineering (CMSE) at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA. My doctoral research is focused on time series analysis, dynamical systems and bifurcations using stochastic methods and topological data analysis.
I completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME), NUST, Pakistan, as batch valedictorian (received the President's Gold Medal for academic excellence).
I am a conscientious engineer with an aim to utilize my knowledge and pass it on to others. I find myself interested in discussions about life and religion, and poetry. Some of my poems, written in the language of Urdu, can be read here.
The future is interdisciplinary: my current work finds solutions of problems in dynamical systems using topological data analysis. In another life, I used to find immense interest in material sciences and solid mechanics. Find some of my treasured works below.
Getting a PhD isn't nearly as interesting without presenting your work. Find some of my past talks linked below. As for recording them, could've-should've-would've but didn't.
